This is a piece I did for the 6x6 Gallery in NYC. I experimented with different oxides. I used four different oxides to do a newspaper soak, and wash the canvas (I even used some bleach on the newspaper to try and fade the ink to a vintage picturey state, it did not work). I later used charcoal and crayon for the face.
